Hi friends Gmail getting more popular they are updating there security feature too. Google started Mobile Verification for the new Gmail account creation. If you want to create a Gmail account you have to give your mobile number for verification. Then Google send SMS verification code to the given mobile number. After verifications only your Google Mail account will works. yes is true my friends. Even you can get password recovery from the mobile also. If u forget your password you can select in password recovery options as your mobile device, Then you will get assess code to your mobile to reset your password.  I personally feels..wow it’s great lol… really Google is always great to implementing new things.

What if you don’t have a mobile phone ?

If you don’t have an mobile phone you cannot able to signup for Gmail account. Otherwise you may need to ask your friend if you can use his or her number to receive a code.

Why they made this Feature ?

According to Google they are saying that to avoid spam and abuse protection are the two things. But i think they are also used for tracking Terrorism activity.

Is there any limitation for creating Account for a single Phone number ?

Absolutely NO….Limitation. You can create number of Gmail accounts with a single mobile phone number.
